It is my proud privilege and pleasure and to welcome each one of you to SPARRC 2022 , the Sri Ramachandra Pathology annual rapid review course.
This is a land mark year as we enter the 10th successful year since its launch.SPARRC is of the most popular and successful flagship programmes of our Department with a vision to share pathology concepts and offer it in a nutshell for the exam going postgraduates in Pathology.
Over the years, it has grown into mammoth proportions with participants from all corners of the country and I thank all post graduates for the overwhelming response.Last year, we had given it an online avatar with more than 800 delegates from across the country and world and this year also we expect an ever larger audience as we expand our online platform.
Each year we also bring out a 42 chapter Hand book for post graduates in Pathology which is used as a ready reckoner for exam going students.
The new and innovative SPARRC app with display of more than 900 digitized slides will be displayed to all our delegates for perusal and discussion.SPARRC is a unified effort and the collective endeavour of the entire team of pathology and I thank our dedicated faculty, technical staff and diligent postgraduate students.All this massive arrangements and launch, year after year, is made possible only because of the unstinted support of our honourable Chancellor Shri V.R.Venkataachalam and our Prochancellor Mr.R.V Senguttavan and our senior administrative heads and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to them .I am grateful to our Guest speakers both from India and abroad who will to share their valuable knowledge.
